Conestoga Insurance was incorporated in 1974. Frank Durocher began the business with a partner making the transition from the Life Insurance Industry, as he was a Manager with London Life at the time.

Frank’s sons Gerry Durocher and Greg Durocher purchased the company from Frank in 1988 and ten years later Gerry bought the company from Greg. Gerry currently runs the company with a staff, which is dedicated to providing, service that people truly appreciate.

Gerry has a deep connection to the religious community and is active in his local church. Integrity is a very high priority and our customers realize quickly that we operate under the umbrella of honesty and sincerity.

Conestoga is a family business and Gerry’s sister and niece are a vital part of the day-to-day operations. There is a different atmosphere at Conestoga and many of our clients appreciate the fact that when they call they get a live voice and not a message.

Gerry Durocher  Gerry Durocher - Owner was a former high school teacher at Southwood Secondary up until 1984, when he entered the business. He became sole owner in 1998. His interests include his church, his dog, athletics and of course his wife Mary!
Caralee Brown Caralee Brown - Office Manager (Gerry’s niece) is the office manager and looks after making sure things are running smoothly each day. Cara is also the one you would speak to when you are becoming a new client. She has had over 20 years experience with Conestoga and can help you design your insurance needs to best suit you. Barb Muntz Barb Muntz - Bookkeeper & Customer Service (Gerry’s sister) is the bookkeeper and customer service specialist. Barb will deal with any claim you may have and has a unique passion for those who have suffered a loss.
Diane Salloch Diane Salloch - Data Processor and Invoicer was with our company years ago and has retuned after a short retirement and works as a data specialist.

Lesley Turnbull Leslie Turnbull - Receptionist is the first voice you will hear at Conestoga and she makes sure she transfers your call to the appropriate person. If a message has to be left we pride ourselves in returning the call within the hour.
Charlie Charlie (Gerry’s dog) may be considered the office mascot who frequently visits the office! NO! He's not on the payroll!
